Peter D Lawson, based in Manchester UK, has been a member of various bands in the past, either as a guitarist, singer or both, but is currently only pursuing solo projects; all instruments, vocals, recording, production, cover art etc is by him.
Peter's music is intentionally eclectic, with elements of psychedelia, folk, avantgarde and rock and is influenced by bands such as Can, Amon Düll II, Cardiacs, Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Jesus and Mary Chain, Pere Ubu, Pink Floyd, XTC, although the main musical influences cited by him are the Cocteau Twins guitarist Robin Guthrie and Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree.
Peter is particularly into music which is atmospheric and spaced out, but otherwise doesn't want to be labelled with any particular genre. He is particularly fond of Cardiacs, Krautrock and "Stoner" rock.
